If you enjoy solving problems, working with a team, and traveling nationwide, this role offers an exciting career path in the low voltage industry.</p><h2><br></h2><h2><strong>What the Role Looks Like</strong></h2><p>Our DAS technicians lead and support installation crews during large in-building wireless deployments. We install antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optics, and supporting equipment that power distributed antenna systems. Projects often involve working with RF components, headend equipment, and fiber infrastructure while maintaining high safety and quality standards.</p><p>The team communicates closely with project managers and customers to keep installations moving forward safely and efficiently. During projects, we also troubleshoot coverage issues, review floor plans, and assist with site surveys when improvements are needed.</p><p>Experienced technicians often mentor newer team members and help maintain documentation, inventory, and installation quality throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p>Travel is required for most projects, typically <strong>90-95% nationwide</strong>.</p><h2><br></h2><h2><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h2><ul><li>DAS installation experience and at least <strong>two years of low voltage cabling experience</strong></li><li>Experience installing coax, fiber, and structured cabling systems</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>RF sweep testing and PIM testing</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>fusion splicing, fiber terminations, and OTDR testing</strong></li><li>Familiarity with RF testing equipment such as <strong>Anritsu or EXFO</strong></li><li>Experience leading crews or mentoring junior technicians</li><li>Ability to lift <strong>up to 75 lbs</strong> and work in active construction environments</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills</li></ul><h2><strong>About Prime Connected</strong></h2><p>Prime Connected is a Midwest-based low voltage infrastructure company with a national footprint.
